You may have to do like I did on the CV joint halves: make a couple of
Dremel cutting wheel marks. My center punches wouldn't mark that hard
stuff.

And while you've got the CV apart, remember my suggestion to cut a plastic
disc, 1/16" or so thick, and force it up into the top splined coupling to
help seal it from water leaking into the CV. RTV or other silicone on top
of that disc, after the clamp is tightened, will add "suspenders" to the
plastic "belt". And use only Valvoline Synpower grease w/MS02 to
lubricate it (and everything else, IMHO).

You may even want to mark a spot on the top half of the CV for a Zerk
fitting so you never feel the need to disassemble it again.
