Having the opportunity to check physically the dome shaped 16" OEM Steel Wheel, with and without a 2" spacer and 80MM new calipers installed on my coach.
The OEM 16" Steel Wheel will not clear the 80mm calipers without some grinding being done on the ears. Other minor grinding may be needed, as noted elsewhere. They will fit fine on the OEM 70mm calipers.
The OEM 16" dome shaped Wheel with added 2" Spacers to the hub, as sold by JmK and others, will allow the 80mm calipers to clear the wheel without any modification to the 80mm caliper.
The OEM 16" cone shaped wheel will clear the 70mm or 80mm calipers if you use spacers.
This is based on using Accu-ride Wheel #27756 (Dome shaped) and unknown manufacturer Cone shaped rim, bar coded AV/TBR.
