Kerry,

I VAGUELY remembered a discussion about matching the oil pump and block mating surfaces on the GMCnet God knows when.

I did a search of the Photosite and found:

As you can see it was posted Mon April 23, 2007.

To me it looks like you match them with Dykem and a rotary file in a Dremel?

By match, what exactly do you mean?, verify there is the mating surfaces match by using DYKEM and a file? Or matching the openings?

Btw, Dick Paterson also recommended, and I bought the MILODAN #22575 high volume oil pump shaft. Also got the +4 degrees timing
chain set and will be installing that also. I'll cover that in a new thread.
