Hal,

I’m fascinated by your project. It seems to me that the longitudinal orientation of the drivetrain is a limiting factor. If only the transverse diesel drivetrain in the Ram vans had more power it could be a good candidate for transplant. I think it’s a smaller package, and without the need to bend the torque 270 degrees from the crankshaft it might be more efficient, too!
