I'm 6'4", 250#. I was looking out the top 4" of the windshield with the
stock seats. Mine is a '73 so the seats were even WORSE than the later
years. 100 miles in that chair was pretty uncomfortable.

Chevy Astro seats. They have to armrests and adjustable angle on the
seatback. I modified the "boxes" that the '73 sits on by sectioning 2"
out of each of them and taking an extra wedge out of the driver's box to
tilt the driver's seat back for more thigh support. I've sat
comfortably between fillups (350+ miles) with no problem.

I can provide better pics if you're considering it. Finding decent used
ones might be tricky. This was in 2003.

They've been recovered since. Gray cloth inserts.

I think I paid $50 for three seats. They are dead flat on the bottom so
it was easy to revise the bolt pattern in the swivel plate.
