Today was an off day for me. After doing fall photos (which are apparently
a thing) with my lovely wife Dana, she accompanied me to work on the coach.

We got the wheels on and partway through Tom P. showed up and gave us much
needed additional assistance. :-) especially his impact wrench.

All the blocks were removed, the airbags were inflated, and the coach was
lowered the ground where she now sits under her own power.

None of my bottle jacks were compatible with my jack hook, so I wound up
buying another bottle jack that's only six times, but I think it gets the
job done without interference between the Jack Hook and the jack itself.

I left the battery on the charger last night, but I don't think it took a
charge. The battery is a side post, and I had to screw in a couple of
posts so I could hook my alligator clips to it. Perhaps it was not getting
a good connection.

However we were able to jump off the coach using my Subaru. The engine
seems to run nicely.

I have some sort of fuel leak however in the fuel line. The fuel line comes
from my fuel-cell that sits in the passenger seat floor board. I need to
take a look at the maintenance manual and see where that fuel line connects
to. The leak seems to be closer to the carb end than the fuel cell end.
Did not eyeball the source.

I disconnected the gas line from the fuel-cell so that it would not siphon
gas out of the fuel cell and onto the ground.

We cleaned everything up and Tom went to the junkyard to see if he could
get any windshield wipers from the various Dustbuster vans that are there.

We also discussed the possibility of traveling down to the coast some
upcoming weekend to work on Betty's Onan generator.

Tom, were you wanting to do that this coming weekend? I must admit I am a
little unclear, but I'm down for it or whatever we need to do to help Miss
Betty out. I've got my Onan baseball cap that Mr. Hart gave me and
everything. :-) does Betty know about this? :-) we should probably
coordinate with her to make sure everything is okay, she might not like
being invaded. :-)

The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Bright blue skies, sunshine, 65°,
light winds, nice and dry. I could not think of a better day to be playing
with my coach or better people to be with.

Today was a good day.
