Okay! Steel wheels are torqued to 150 foot pounds. Fuel leak is fixed. I
removed the broken roof pod, and put the cruddy rusty screws back into the
holes in the roof to (try to) keep water out. Dana played in the interior.
She discovered that the rear is not a full time bed, but was just a
mattress laid across the rear seats. She tossed the mattress, cut down the
rotting curtains, and was a regular Suzy Homemaker. She was desperate for a
vaccum cleaner but (a) there was no power available at the storage place
due to issues, and (b) the onboard vaccum won't work without the Onan
installed. I told her we'd drive it to our house and put it in the
driveway, HOA be damned, and work on it some there.
Now with video goodness. http://youtu.be/lWqzWiGkjR8
At the end, I point out a possible problem with locking the door... I'm
scared of messing with it, after seeing some horror stories. Is this a
symptom of a common problem with an easy fix? :)
