Mary Anne likes the white top too for the same reasons. I don't want too much contrast. I like #3, but it reminds me of the gadabout and I am more of a Pepsi man...

I am good with lines, but not with color, so while the pattern was easy, the colors were not. It has to have some garnet in it, and the front swoop seemed to be the best place for it. Say what you will about the "racoon" look, the dark color around the windshield downplays the height difference in the front and side windows, which I always thought interrupted the lines. I think the GMC designers thought so too as evidenced by the factory stripe packages where the top stripe stopped at the first window.
