I've got the first Rockwell manifold that Jim Bounds sold, installed it somewhere around late 2009 or early 2010, and it still works fine. This is on an original engine, no metal removed from the head surfaces, so this may be one reason why I don't have any leaks. I used a Mr Gasket gasket set and grey Permatex silicone for this installation.

The engine runs better because the carb isn't boiling like it used to, especially after a quick rest-area stop on a hot day. Hot engine restarts are quick (a second or two of cranking) and no stumbling or hesitation afterwards.
