Looking for a steering wheel. Is yours OK or should I just hit local junk yard? I heard that a GMC S-10 pickup steering wheel would work.?

S-10 (or even better GMC S-15) steering wheels are popular due to the styles available, but almost any GM (and many non-GM) pre-Airbag steering wheel will work. GMC Safari vans are also a good choice.

I like the style with a single bar running across just below the horn button. It lets me see the gauges without strain.

I collect good ones when I go to the local pick-n-pull. I try to get them on their semi-annual half off sale weekend. (Either they are late with this spring's event, or I missed it this year.)
