Well, we finally did it. After six months of lurking here, four months of checking the Internet “For Sale” sites, a couple of thousand miles of driving to check out coaches and having to show up at the Western States Rally towing our Airstream trailer, we are finally the proud owners of a 1978 Eleganza II, TZE168V0101307. 53,000 original miles, original interior and paint but has always been stored under cover and is one of the best looking and best running original coaches we have seen. Alcoas, one year-old tires, and headers with 3” stainless steel exhaust. Permanent queen bed in the back, newer radio with a CD player, a newer low-profile air conditioner, day/night window coverings, a like-new awning and a large storage pod in very good condition. Now I need to build a shelter so she can remain under cover.
