Thanks, John.

I discovered that! The fuse looked good, but hidden
from view was the solder that had run out of each
end cap of the fuse! I haven't seen that happen
since around 1965 or 1966 in a National NCX-D power
supply in my 64 1/2 289 Mustang! The metal strip in
the fuse was still intact!

Now I find that the kitchen sink drain is leaking
due to some P.O. having tightened a gland nut WAY
too tight and broke the end off. I just had an
email on another list that reminded me of the
wonders of duct tape. Since there is NO presssure
on that joint, I think I'll try a tape solution
to hold through the rally!
