When I sold the 340 Duster you see me leaning against in the photo, I refused - still refuse - to total up what I had in in just in parts and machine shop work.  Not to mention my time.  But, it was fun, it went like hell, the guy who bought it still goes out and embarasses new iron.  So it was worth it, however much 'it' was.

That's what I thought about 1949-51 MKV Jaguar Saloons. I have four complete
cars and two parts cars. I bought them in the 1980's for a song when I was
based here as a field rep with a view of restoring them. The problem is it
costs about $25 grand to restore one and you can get about $30 grand for it
when you're done.

I wish I had a lot of money. I would buy all the derilect GMC's that I read
about. One day, they will be back in demand.
Just think of all the old houses that were bulldozed because they were "out
of style". The same thing applies here.
