When I sold the 340 Duster you see me leaning against in the photo, I refused - still refuse - to total up what I had in in just in parts and machine shop work.� Not to mention my time.� But, it was fun, it went like hell, the guy who bought it still goes out and embarasses new iron.� So it was worth it, however much 'it' was.

That's what I thought about 1949-51 MKV Jaguar Saloons. I have four complete
cars and two parts cars. I bought them in the 1980's for a song when I was
based here as a field rep with a view of restoring them. The problem is it
costs about $25 grand to restore one and you can get about $30 grand for it
when you're done.
