There are two companies that made those "slots" (we used to call them that).
Airstream and Ansen. Used to be very popular in the 60's, early 70's. I
used to sell a ton of them at swap meets because their popularity was
replaced by the still popular 5 spoke designs. At one time they were the
only wheel wider than stock that you could buy on a budget .
