I spent some time last weekend trying to get an HF radio in the GMC. I'm using a screwdriver antenna and I'd like to mount it with some clearance, but I can't seem to get a good ground plane anywhere.

I'm interested to hear if any of my fellow GMC Amateur Radio operators have solved this or have suggestions.

The Rapture and beginning of the end of the world is supposedly coming up on May 21st, right in the middle of my next camping trip. I don't want to miss any of it...
