Les is correct, the low-end units sense flow and turn the heater on 100%,
They do not modulate the heater. The more flow you get the less heat gain.

I thought it might be good to feed my home dishwasher which is some 60 feet of PEX from the water heater, but that would require an expensive rewiring job to the kitchen.

…depot has a $84 110v tankless on sale for today only. Seems like prices have come way down and maybe this small one would be good for a coach. It says rated for a single sink but may work for a 'Navy' shower.
