Just installed seven new Eagle rims and new tires so am looking to off my old stock 16.5 rims and seven good tires. Four tires are Firestones, (not the exploding ones) and three are a brand I can't remember but all have at least 75% or more rubber. I'm at home now and the tires are at work. call my cell and I can describe what I've got. I'm in Vancouver, WA. Call 360-213-6035.

For what its worth I was able to get someone to come and pick mine up (for FREE, of course) by taking a picture of one and posting it on the bulletin board at the local grocery store. I think he was really only interested in the tires but I insisted that if he wanted the tires he had to take the wheels too. Actually, I only gave away 6 because I thought that perhaps, someday, I might find a good use for one of those heavy wheels.

I disposed of my old 16.5" rims and tires, by "donating" them to a local used tire store. They were a little hesitant, until I explained that they were free.
Love my Alcoa's.

When I made the switch to Alcoa's, I kept two rims to assist me in doing a alignment of the rears. I bolt the bare rims backwards to the hubs, and run a long straight edge across the rims. Then measure from the frame to the front/rear of each rim to see how straight the bogies are. From there use a porta-power to bend them out where they belong. When a 6' straight edge touches 4 spots on the two rims, I know they are tandemly (new word) aimed straight ahead...works for me.
