I'm thinking of selling my screen door unit from a 1976 Birchaven , complete with hinges. don't know how to ship it, with the curve and all. In very good condition.

My awning is just in front of the door and will only open about 90 degrees.

It is a "BIRCH" door...........

Please send offers <jmps@pacbell.net>

Before you sell that thing, there are ways you can hold the awning up so that the screen door will open all of the way....or is that not the issue??

with the awning open is not the problem, my door is hitting the vertical arm, causing it to only open about 90 degrees, then I have to fight with the screen door.
I should also mention, that where I live bugs are rare, some flies sometimes, that's it

I am asking for reasonable offers, based on the rarity of availability. I am needing to TOTALLY redo my brakes, and need as much as I can get.
Hinges are still mounted on my coach, yet to be removed, I have been doing clearance lights before the storm hits next week.

I don't know if anyone wants this information or not, but I bought a used screen door, in good condition, from someone at the Dothan Convention who no longer wanted it. If either party is interested, I will reveal the price I paid and how it broke down. If you don't think it will help, just ignore this message.

Thanks,

Hi, FYI Ray Schwartzendruber sold a brand new one never installed for $200. I'd be willing to pay that much for yours after seeing some pictures. If you're interested send the photos to: robmueller@iinet.net.au. Thanks, Rob

Still available, lots of lookers, but no cash has crossed my palms like people were afraid to make offers, 2 have made offers that they would like, none are what I would like, to pay for my brake job.

i just shipped one (today) UPS ground for about $35. I made big envelope out of two layers of cardboard with the hinges and hardware in the middle. The dimensions just make it at that price- 74 X 26 X 3

Another inch anywhere and jumps to $90

I'll let you know if it doesn't make it.

I don't know exactly what UPS rules are about dimensions but I found a vendor who sells a GMC screen door for $400 and charges $35 shipping- UPS ground.

So it was less than three inches thick but it would be about 8 inches tall, laying flat. I'm hoping UPS sees the thickness and not the actual cubic footage it displaces.

I also drilled off the hinges.
