Sometimes the simplest things just get ya. Here we are traveling in the Florida heat and the dash AC decides it doesn't want to work. There has always been a very minor refrigerant leak in the system so I just assumed that was the issue. I crawled up to the pod to get my box of AC stuff and plugged in the low pressure gauge and found me with pressure in the red with out the engine running. So, plenty of refrigerant for the compressor to start. Next, check the fuses finding a 5amp Acc fuse blown. That is not it I'm thinking, but replace it anyway. Geese, what you gotta go through just to get that fuse out. Broke it and made a mess of broken glass. Had to go to town to get that one fuse I didn't have. Also replaced the 25amp Heater/AC fuse just in case it had burned internally where you can't see the break. Another broken fuse and glass mess, doing all of this on hands and knees in the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat. Each fuse change requiring opening the engine hatch to see if the compressor was finally engaging. Still no AC. So, I go out to disconnect the low pressure AC gauge and notice that the high pressure switch connector does not look right. It is bent to the left and one of the spades in the connector is not making contact. Straighten out the spades, plug it in and everything works just fine. One and one half hour .....GAAAAAAA!

“Somebody” must have bumped that connector while doing something else. 😆
