In this recent cold snap, some of the tires deflated. When I reinflated, I could see small bubbles coming from below the oval plate at the base of one
of the valve stems. I tightened up the nut at the base of the stem and that seemed to hold.

When I had the new tires mounted and balanced the tire place said it didn't have that "old" style of valve so they went ahead and mounted the tires
with the old valves in place. During summer the pressures say reasonably even although I do check them before every trip. Every winter I get some tire
pressure loss, but this year with the extra cold weather all but two of them deflated.

Can I get the old style of valve stem to suit these wheels?

TIA

Larry

Larry, try any Auto parts stores, or even truck centers for metal valve cores.
