I believe it is the standard 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. (Please y'all correct me if I'm wrong!)

On a 455 the firing order is cast into the top of the intake manifold. I do not know if they did the same on a 403. Some versions of the GMC manual had distributor pictures wrong. Two cylinders are reversed. Do not believe the book.

I also believe it is 18436572, but look for the numbers cast in the manifold.
