I saw this coach at the museum in Elkhart, Indiana and it's a shame they
didn't have someone do what could have been a nice coach. The people who
did the work did an overall nice job. They just did too much. They tried to
stuff a Prevost into a GMC.
SHAMEFUL.

The other thing that’s shameful is the deplorable shape of the other GMC they have in their collection.

While it’s closer to stock, it’s not, and it’s still pretty rough.

GMCMI offered to put together a team to spruce it up a bit, and their executive director declined.

It’s an interesting situation at the RV/MH (the MH is for “Manufactured Housing”) Hall of Fame, as they tend to let the still existing manufacturers maintain the exhibits that showcase their brand.

GMC Motorhomes are technically “orphaned”, and as such, their by-laws don’t allow us to help.

That particular 26' GMC has such bad handling that neither Jim Bounds or Jeff Sirum could cure it. Lots of cash spent to end up with an unusable GMC. Some very nice ideas, well executed, but final analysis, an unusable upgraded coach. By the way, top heavy.
