Agree. However, the latest post on the Google Groups read-only archive, which I use from time to time for its search capabilities, is from July 8, 2022.

Just tried going to "Search" and got a plan page with "not secure" in the link bar.

Larry,
The "Search" link to the left of the "Help" hasn't worked in a very long time. The "Forum Search" box in the very upper right corner does work though.

The Google archive hasn't worked since right about the time the link between the emailers and the Forum was broken. The last message on the Google Archive tells the issue: "You have been unsubscribed from the Gmclist mailing list"

So we just need someone in the know to re-subscribe the Google Archive to the email list.

I sent a message from the link to the group Owners or Managers and it bounced back with this reply:

We received your message to the owner of the group gmcnet-archive.

This group does not accept email to owners or managers. To send a message to the owner, visit the following page: https://groups.google.com/d/contactowner/gmcnet-archive

So who ever owns the GMC Archive does not want to be contacted. Too bad because the Google Archive provided a great method of searching GMCNet.
