An RV friend recently called.
He has discovered that his catalytic converter was cut right from under is few year old C.
Apart from the noise, he wanted suggestions for ways to patch it so he can take it somewhere to get a replacement fit.
He knows he will be out the deductible of his insurance, but he was hoping to save the weekend.
This prompted a discussion that absolutely does not relate to anything GMC.
Even if I had a converter under there, I know I couldn't get in there to swing a saws-all to cut something away.

Matt, catalytic converter thefts are a significant problem in the Toronto Ontario area. My friend had the one from
his TOYOTA TUNDRA stolen along with several others parked at the same place.

GMC Contant.. I guess that's an advantage of the GMC MH sitting soooo loooow !!
