Needing tires on my daily driver, I decided to try the FMCA Tire Purchase Program.The program allows FMCA members to purchase tires at a reduced rate from Michelin, BFGoodrich, and Uniroyal. I selected Michelin because they do not restrict purchase of tires to Motorhomes and allow purchase of tires a discounted rate for our automobiles. I contacted my local dealer, and got a quote on 4 new Michelins. then contacted FMCA to arrange the purchase. After purchase including mount, balance, and tire disposal, the difference between the quote from my local dealer and what I finally paid saved me $232.44. Checking Walmart fleet Farm and other Michelin dealers, and they could not meet the deal I got thru the Michelin Advantage Program. There is a specific procedure you must follow but it was worth the time to do it. More than saved the $60 FMCA membership. So FWIW, the next time you need tires for your MH or car, IMO FMCA Tire Savings Program is worth a look.

I've had good luck with BFGoodrich Commercial T/A tires for my GMC over the last 15+ years. The last time I needed tires I looked them up online at FMCA and found the price there was more than what I could get the same tires locally. Consequently, I didn't use the program. From your experience it would appear the FMCA program works better with Michelin tires.

Who installed the tires? And how did you find a tire dealer to do the install?
