Interesting. The bookmark link in my own browser was compromised. This happened after I cleared my cache. Will investigate further, apologies for the alarms!!

Larry,

Alerts are always welcome. Maybe you did mid-key and maybe it was real.

Something went wrong. I had a similar problem. I have links saved in my address bar on google Chrome. And whenever I clicked it took me to a gambling site. I thought it would come good when someone realised but after a week it was still sending me to the wrong site. So I deleted the link

Yes, I used the same link on the Firefox toolbar I'd always used. Yesterday worked properly. Last night I cleared the cache. This morning the link took me to the gambling site. When I closed the tab, the icon on the toolbar changed to reflect the gambling site. I deleted the saved link and re-added the correct one. All good again.

Interesting... when I open a new Tab in Firefox, it has GMC Motorhome Forum on the page with frequently visited sites. If I hover over it, it shows the link as gmcmhforum.com as the link. But when I click on it, it takes me to gmcmotorhome.org and my saved link is gmcmotorhome.org.

Now that I look closer, there are two favorite GMCmotorhome icons on the page and the second one has the correct address.

Now, I maybe wrong, but didn't the site change it's name at some point?

I remember that change too ...vaguely!

anyway checked the site notices this morning and yes ...

2/15/21

Primary domain name changed from gmcmhforum.com to gmcmotorhome.org. The old domain will remain valid for now but will redirect to gmcmotorhome.org (to test, you may need to clear your browser's cache and cookies).
GMC Motorhome icon in upper left corner updated.
Favicon updated.

That's no doubt some of the reason my link did what it did ...I don't clear the cache too often I guess!!!
