Has Jim Bounds left Co-op? Someone advertising for personnel on Fbook seems to indicate some changes?

I speak with JimB almost daily.
He has handed over the everyday function to a very capable person and just
doing minimal function.

Time marches on, it seems.
We all hate to look in the mirror and see that reality. I am at the
top of the list in that regard. But, if Jim has decided to take a lesser
role in the day to day operations, and to have a bit of time to slow down
and smell the roses, I wish him all the best.

rumor seems to be he has been trying to sell for at least couple years.

I do not think this is the “Jason”. That was on the zoom conference at Chippawa. But then again this new “manager”. Said he wont be an owner. So who knows.

I do know that interest in the gmc’s if off the chart and I think there is a business there if done right. But is high risk if you cant get things completed in a reasonable amount of time. And finding good help is pretty hard right now.

Ah Yes, to be 45 or so again. I would have a 5 bay shop with an alignment
bay and lifts and 5 or 6 techs and office personnel and be working 7 days a
week and tearing out my hair. The work is definitely out there. Other
brands have their hands absolutely overflowing with warranty work on new
shabby construction of current motorhomes and tow behinds. Lighting,
plumbing, heating, LP systems, you name it. I get phone calls and internet
pleas constantly from all over the place.
I can't do it like that anymore. Too old and slow these days.
