I have a "rumble" in my coach going down the road that increases/decreases
with speed. Since I had no road experience with the coach prior to putting
on new Transforce tires, has anyone else detected tire noise from that
brand? I may need to look beyond tires. The noise is not much but
discernible to my 'pilot' trained hearing.

least a 1.000 miles since operational and on new tires.

Hello Dean,
No, I have Transforce and do not hear any strange noises.
Regards,
Bill

I have run nothing but Transforce both 8.75 and 225 and have never noticed a rumble.

Did you tray a "sashay" to see if it is greater on one side than the other?

Matt

I am thinking that sounds more like a bearing or loose final drive
fasteners on the driver side of the coach. I would take it for a drive at
road speed, then use your instant read infra-red thermometer to check for
a hot bearing or cv joint. If you do not have one, Harbour freight has them
for $20.00 or less on sale.

I had that, a drone would appear after driving a while and start about 63 and be gone by 70. I thought it was tires. Replaced the 6 aged LTXs with Cooper HT3. No change. I traced it to passenger side rear leading wheel outer wheel bearing. They were not due for service, but it’s dead quiet now after changing outer bearing and race and setting preload exactly by the GMFSM procedure.

I just turn off my hearing aid in my one operational ear and the sound disappears.

Hey, Ken,

It's been too long since we've talked -- I'm really glad to hear you
finally got a hearing aid for that operational ear! The one I've had for
my one for 5 years or so still spends 99+% of its time in the case -- SHE's
learned to stay on my right side and repeat everything at least twice.
Give Laurie a hug for me!

Hi Ken. Well my hearing has got steadily worse. I have not been able to train Laurie which side is good and which ear is dead. I also have not been able to train her to stand withing 6 feet and face me when she talks. I repeat the same message several times a day but it does not help. So goes life.

Lauri probably won't take the 30 years it's taken HER to sorta catch on. :-)
