Had the Power Master System on my coach when I bought it. Pump went out and a used pump was more than converting back to Dave Lenzi's sensitized brake system. Parts are out of production and hard to come by.

GM gave up on it in favor of vacuum boosters....its not that it didnt work....it was just prone to leaks and was power steering dependent....loose the belt = loose your boost.
You would be further ahead to stay with vacuum and put an electric vacumm pump on for back up if your worried about engine diing issues IMO....YMMV.

got a version of powerboost in our stock 2005 Tahoe. 200k and no issues. The 77 royale has a sensitized booster W/ vac pump and reaction arms. The coach stops VERY well. nice combination of parts
