I have a laminated check list I keep on the drivers seat. It's my preflight/drive list
Awning locked down.
Hatches locked.
Water, Electric, Sewer secured.
Under carriage ramp locked in place.
Tires checked.
And on.
This solves the problem of having someone coming by and distracting me while I'm doing these things. With Linda in a wheelchair. It's like Apollo 13 for me. Failure IS NOT an option in our travels. My nemeses last year was electric fuel pumps from China. Ken Henderson can attest to this FACT. Thanks for that help Ken. I also make check list of what's done, and not done when working on the GMC. Yes. I get anal. But I've never had the GMC on a hook.( Except for the fire.) Well. It got hauled the 300 miles by State Farm for free. State Farm were saints with that mess. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale

Bob,
Good idea.
In the Operating Manuals for our GMC's is a section entitled; "Before Driving Your Motorhome." I would suggest that people take the
time to read it.
