Hi Jonny
To get power sharing for when we are plugged into less than 50 amp shore power. The newer inverters willstop charging and share shore and inverter power if the ac load exceeds the shore power amp limit without tripping the shore power breaker.
In the all electric Prevost we can easily exceed a 30 amp (really two 15 amp circuits) shore power plug so requires active power management. The new units do that automagically.
