Before you go too far into the power issues surrounding full timing in a GMC be sure you think through water and sewer. Those are the limiting factors that will thwart your full timing ambitions. Electricity you can replenish in the sticks, water you cannot. Depending on the year and outfitter your coach will have somewhere around 40 gallons of fresh water on board. Combined black and gray will be similar. Four days is about the max for most given those modest amounts. Don’t plan on showering every day in the coach while boondocking. Also, map carefully where the waist water goes. In some coaches shower and kitchen sink go to gray while toilet and bathroom sink go to black. Others may vary somewhat. You want to know for sure for your particular coach
We managed a number of three month trips in one or the other of our two coaches, but never tried anything longer. We often dry camped but not for more than three days in a row. We could go four but that was stretching it the way we lived in our coaches.
If yours is a GMC finished coach then black and gray water go to the same tank. The only way you will know for sure when that that tank is really full is when you find yourself standing in water in the shower!

Okay, so lights and everything is happy on DC. Cool.
Dumb questions: How many DC systems are there? There are 2 batteries up front and 1 in the rear (well it has two 6V in series but you get it). Does
the coach battery up front go to the same place that the battery in the back goes to?
If they are separate, where do I tap in for additional batteries? I can fit those odyssey batteries almost anywhere that can support an additional 400
pounds safely.
So, powering the entire coach off an inverter is out because I need DC for stuff.
Is this a custom wiring job with manual switches for power sources?
