I. put in the Howell/GM EFI. Extremely pleased. Not hard to install. If I need any component on the road. I can walk into any parts store. It can tell you what's wrong. Has an excellent track record back to the 80's. Starts/stops instantly. Love it. Runs smother then the carb ever did. As to pumps. I went external. Had one of them fail right after installing. About 20 mins to replace. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale
