Most of the instruments on my '76 coach either don't work or don't read correctly. Rather then try to fix them, I'm thinking of making a custom panel. Has anyone done this? If so, would you share some pictures please. Thx.

Dave, Have not done this interesting task but Jim Allen has some very nice looking panels. Complete set-ups. Remember if you roll your own and keep the stock senders, they are notional 0-90 ohm and naturally would require matching gauges.

Yes it's been done before. You can use aftermarket gauges or even go use a
touch screen panel to replace the stock gauges with. It just depends on
your taste and what you want.

Davis,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.....

You have already found out some of the power that this community wields, and if you want to see more just wait right here.

I see you are working the group as e-mail, that makes this next a little difficult unless you can store a sigfile to use here. We like sigfiles for three reasons. One is that when we meet we know who you are. You seem to be using a real name, so that one is easy. In one of the posts, you mentioned that you had a '76, but you did not say what version and that can make a difference in some things. Other than the mentions of some California locations, we also don't know where you are. That can matter and now you will find out why.

This is an amazing community. It is made up of supportive and helping people. We all have a not so secret agenda. That is to see that you and the daughter get to enjoy your coach and what it can allow you to do and experience as much as we all have, and to this end you will find assistance very available. The only other community I know of that is at all this supportive and helpful is that of the watermen that are my world. For that reason, I very much like to welcome new owners (even those with temporarily broken coaches), much as any new owner or vessel is welcomed there. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Davis and Daughter

Matt
