I use, and love K &N filters on my road race track cars. But never on any street cars, or my GMC. Their great for flowing lots of air at high RPM above 6000. For any street use. They must re oiled often. If you want a high volume/large air filter for our GMC's. I sell a Donaldson filter assembly that I modify for our GMC's. With a 4 inch duct from a grille air scoop. All the way to the carb/EFI. The element is 11 inches long, and 7 inches in dia. With very deep folds. Bob Dunahugh 78 Royale

I bought one of the filters that Bob makes to fit the GMC while at the Elkhart rally in Indiana. It was designed for large trucks operated in dusty conditions.

Very easy to install.

Shoot me a PM or email with a price and a picture if you don't mind bob, I'm not particularly happy with the filter on mine presently.
