Anyone know for sure that the following should not work, or cautionary tales? They are not listed in our parts exchange.

I found this booster and master cylinder on a 2014 facebook post
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NBB501002

I also found it at rockauto a little cheaper w same part number.
The rockauto lists it for the mid 70's toronado

seems like it will solve pushrod length and seal issues because it comes with mc attached.

For just the booster, the same thread in 2014 a guy lists a cardone part #54-71018 as compatible if you alter the through hole for the clevis pin. It shows available by mail order from advance and autozone.

My 75 has a metric booster from Leigh Harrison that is now audibly leaking vacuum the last two trips and a home made spacer to get the pushrod length right, and my 78 has an original booster with a newly installed master cylinder (that was sitting for years in the coach uninstalled when I bought it) that is leaking fluid on the booster face, so will need to be replaced. Seems that the combo solves a lot of issues, it just doesn't give you the "sensitized" thing.

Tyler,

There is another item to be considered - the length of the rod that connects the booster to the brake pedal mechanism. That rod
cannot be accessed without disassembling the booster.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find the correct length in my reference material.
