Received a blacklist call from newer owner that is broke down in Santa
Bara, CA. Everything was going good until broke fan belt. He paid to have
it replaced near Paso Robles. Then near Santa Barbara, hear loud noise. He
called an emergency mechanic out who thought it was a frozen fan clutch and
replaced that. Didn't solve the problem and after working on it more, they
are not sure what problem is. Owner doesn't seem to be real mechanical and
as his towing service is new, he is in waiting period before can use it.
So to cut to the chase, does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Santa
Barbara area and/or has anyone had experience with John Hurley Auto located
there? He is currently parked outside of that shop.
Thanks for any assistance.
