I had 3 pins put into my S-I joint on the right side to fuse it. The doctor says this will keep the nerves from giving me the constant pain I have been having. They will likely do the left side in 3 months.
I am home today but in bed much of the time on pain killers. I have to keep most of the weight off my right leg for the next 6 weeks.
If I am not too fogged up with pain killers I’ll be on the net some.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers and emails you have sent me.

Getting older is hell — the parts keep wearing out! Just like our GMC’s.

Hope to see you on here while you heal. Someday I want to learn the story on all these manufacturer specific color coolants for new cars. When it was just EG and Dexcool it was easy. Feel better soon

Emery, I hope you feel better very soon. This old age stuff can be a bitch at times. I would also like to thank you for all you have done for this community over all the years that I have followed it since 1997. Without your helpful advice and a lot of reference articles by others including Ken Henderson I would have never got my 76 Eleganza to where it is now. Working and keeping up with its Maintenance is happening slower now. As they always say, ( The mind is willing but the body ain't able.) Good Luck and keep on keepin on.. Smile

Doggone GMC done went and got under my skin. Hard to get rid of something after you've had it for 20 years. Glad I kept all those receipts so I can replace all the modified parts that are on it..
