This is the 26” that was for-sale in Concord, NC on eBay last month. Still sorting out the title with its former owner in Washington state, but have a laundry list of items to start on once done... clearly as everyone thought, it’s not a Royale, but an Eleganza II. It also doesn’t appear to have a 455 in it as the former owner thought, but instead what appears to be an all original powertrain including the stock 403.

Looks like, it’s most recent enthusiast owner was in the 2000s, and in Oregon, a Mr Rick Hoffman.

Lots to do before this one hits the road, but, hopefully I’ll get it there soon.

Not having followed this thread, what years is the coach. GM switched the motor size installing the 403 at TZE167V101285 in the Motorhome, TZE337V101287 in the 23’ Transmode and TZE367101312 in the 26’ Transmode.

I know that Facebook is popular, but it would benefit you and the knowledge base if you tried to put your pictures up on the GMC Photo-site.

You can sign up for an account near the bottom of the page. Having been a GMC owner and photo poster we lost photo hosting sites and all our pictures twice before we setup this Photo site. We have had over 220000 visitors since 2002 and we presently have over 1600 registered users with almost 49500 pictures and better than 37,222.770 views of those pictures. This the best maintained and secure repository of GMC photos of any RV anywhere.

P.S. most of the older knowledge base does not use Facebook or Google. There are several GMC groups on Google that are fairly good, but the GMC Facebook group knowledge base is thin and flawed and use with caution.

Hi

I’m TZE168V101313, a 78. I’ll share more photos later, the coach doesn’t look too bad but needs a bunch of work though I don’t think too out of the ordinary.

It’s been sitting a long time by the looks of it, but drove home about an hour drive in traffic just fine other than it disappearing all the fluid out of the rear brakes, and a good sized fuel leak right at the tanks.

The suspension compressor works, and pretty good considering the bags look original and are leaking, the generator turns over smooth (but won’t start) and all the electrics seem to work less the dash air, blower motor, and the cruise control. Oh, it starts and runs surprisingly well-though it’s totally gutless. I’d much rather of had a 455 to build upon ;).

My short list...

Fuel leak
Generator repair
Bleed rear brakes
Fix cv boot leak
Replace air bags
Replace shocks
Repair front air
Repair cruise control
Repair rear window leaks
Repair vent fans front/can
Tires

Test-Gas
Test-Water/shower/fix busted pipes
Test-Macerator/black water tank

Consider- one-ton front end
Consider- cheap radio
Consider- good headlights
Consider- better seats up front
Consider- backup and side cameras
Consider- big inverter
