The PO removed the forward ceiling hook for the bunk bed on our 1975 EL upfitted coach. I know building a pair would be a simple job but the original chrome/polished look would really be nice. I have seen different looking hooks and wonder if anyone knows what years would match the 1975. If I can't match the existing one I'll be in the market for a pair.
Anyone have some for sale?
Thanks as always,
Hal

I have seen two types. The one in my 75 palm beach, hangs down and the belts spring clip. I have an extea set and believe those are the style I have.

The 77 eleganza has a like a male belt buckle end that goes up into the celing latch and hooks. Nothing protrudes down from the ceiling.

Let me verify what is in the bag I have. i had them in my hand this past weekend while garage cleaning and I can send them

I swapped my barrel chairs for a bunk with another owner... and did not have the ceiling hooks either. In typical fashion, I looked around my shop for something that would work. I had two of these stainless tools in my sailboat toolbox https://www.murrays.com/product/01-0006/ They are to tighten and loosen sailboat shackles. I cut off the end at the can opener and bolted through the nut shaped hole. The belt hook fits tightly in the slot when under weight. The downside is that they hang below ceiling height so if you are over 6 foot, you can hit your head on them... which would really hurt!

same issue with the original early ones. But they are placed in a
location where you rarely have your head. At least I never hit my head
on one of them (iirc)

I need to get a set too, and I think the mounts pivot pins that the back
swings from.
