It's under 20 bux, does everything including true RMS and temp. Doesn't say whether it's dual slope but it about has to be for the stuff it measures.

Save your money up for a good one. I once bought a Harbor Freight one for about that price.

I was using it to wire up the toad and the sun shown down on the face for perhaps 10 minutes. The plastic around the dial shriveled up and the numbers would only show the lower half.

Buy a used Fluke on eBay instead.

I already have several good meters. I have this one coming for use as a traveling tool. I have a cheeep Banggood LCD scope to travel as well, my Tek doesn't go in the coach. As long as this one does dual slope conversion so it will work in a high RF environment it will be worth the price.
The gensets in RVs - including the Onan - usually present a garbage waveform when they're loaded, this should tell how bad the distortion actually is.

I thought you were asking the net for an opinion but I see you had already bought it. Let us know in a year or so if it's still working.

Emery,

I agree with you kinda-sorta.

I have one of these in Sydney which I bought back in the middle 1990's:

https://www.ebay.com/i/122724785171?chn=ps&dispItem=1

I paid a LOT more than $110 for it! But it came with the attachments for it which allow it to measure RPM and Temperature.

I bought one of these several years ago to use in Double Trouble and it still works fine:

Guess I'm luckier than you. :-)

Rob M.

Yes. That is the one I bought at HF. Don't let yours be exposed to direct sunlight.
