Just thought I'd pass along a recommendation for a mechanic very familiar with our GMC's.
His mane is Frank Borrmann, located in the Bluevale area of Ontario. Not far from Cinnabar. So parts are not far.

We have great mechanics here in the lower 48 (both Jims and Ken) but Frank is a great choice if anyone is near.

I used him for a engine, tranny, finale drive exchange. And new fuel lines. He did a fantastic job! I was extreamly impresses with his judgement to discuss a repair with the guys in the know if he had any uncertainty of the job at hand. And I like that! Very clean shop, with a fantastic family that helps out in the business.

Best of all.......he is young!!!! I don't see any reason he can't be working on these things for the next 25 years.

Now, only if I could find someone like him down here in Texas......

Scott Nutter 1978 Royale Center Kitchen, Patterson 455, switch pitch tranny, 3.21 final drive, Quad bags, Dave Lenzi super duty mid axle disc brakes, tankless water heater, everything Lenzi. Alex Ferrera installed MSD Atomic EFI Houston, Texas

I also recommend Frank for all the reasons expressed by Scott above.

Frank was instrumental in assisting me when I purchased my coach last year. He is very knowledgable, takes the time to explain his findings and is extremely fair, doesn't nickel and dime you. Excellent shop, very nice family atmosphere and many years of GMC experience. He did such a great job with my GMC that I haven't had a reason to go back, but I will when the need arises.

G'day,

FYI Billy Massey has this list of service providers on his website:

http://www.bdub.net/GMCServiceComments.pdf

Frank is listed.

If you use a mechanic that does a good job let Billy know so he can add them to the list. Conversely if you are not happy with the
service provided by someone on the list let him know.

Provide details of what the mechanic did to your coach.

Regards,
Rob M.

Interesting that Cinnabar is not listed in Michigan and that Applied GMC is not on the list for California. Seems that they should be on the list for service. Or am I missing something?

Thanks,

I can see that it would pay to check out more than one list if you are new to the game.
