My NEW relay wouldn't run the aux tank pump. So I ran a jumper wire to the aux pump. BINGO. Back running again. The NEW Airtex number E8094 worked great last night for 3 blocks. ( And I did have a filter between the pump, and tank.)So what's the track record on this pump? Two sheets to the wind Bob.

Bob you sure you're running gas through those pumps and not HCL Laughing
I've never heard of so many failed fuel pumps!

I ordered two more pumps today..One as a backup. Then a second backup for the first backup. This is NUTS. My tanks are spotless. The filters mounted before the pump have absolutely nothing in them in the way of junk. Maybe I should get a hand crank pump that Linda can use. Or one with a treadmill that the dog can power. May need more Scotch. Bob Dunahugh

Golly, Bob, have you yet tried any of the recommended Carter P4070 pumps? I
keep seeing pump brands go by--pumps that were whatever cheapie brand that
was available in an emergency--but not the Carter. I bought one recently in
preparation for a dual-pump setup, and it's still made in USA. The old one
still works fine after 13 years.

Also, maybe don't clamp them to the exhaust pipe. (That was a joke.)

Richard. On my last trip. I took a Carter 4070 with me. And that's what got me home. I just installed an EFI system now. Thus needed a higher pressure pump. Then one of the higher pressure pumps failed. Bob Dunahugh
