Now I know why my rear tank sender was reading nada. A little chewer had
taken out a bit of the harness going to it.
I thought it was a clean break and spliced the ends together, but no. When
positioning the tank to raise it back up, I came up a coupla inches short.
Blast!
Now, I have to add an extension on the end of the wire--no way am I
replacing the whole harness.
Done for the night.

Yes, and they work.
I purchased three of their ultrasonic Mini Pest Chasers from Victorpest.com several years ago. Using an extension cord I put one in the Onan compartment, one on top of the engine and one inside the GMC.
Prior to that I had packrats (wood rats) chewing on the wires on my engine and Onan. After using the Pest Chasers I eliminated the mouse/rat problems.
I see on their site that they still sell them but they now have a nightlight built into them.

You're right, Emery. We have been using the electric rodent deterrants for
a number of years. They work!

Emery, I've had two of those devices going in my coach for the last many
years, with no discernible effect.

Maybe the polarity of your AC outlet is screwed up.

I can hear the buzzing of the device, and the LED is on. But it's powered
by AC--not sure polarity matters.

Hopefully I'll make it to Elkhart. Getting the tanks up shouldn't be a
problem--I have all the stuff now. I still need to route and attach front
brake lines, bleed the brakes, and then I can drop the coach and do the
ride height and alignment. But I also still need the intermediate shaft
that Manny is sending me, but that hasn't yet arrived. I need that before I
can fasten the half-shafts on the inner end, so I can't do the alignment
until I get that done, beyond a quick initial set.
But I have to travel this coming week and my weekend coming up is a bit
crowded with other activities. I'm hoping to get as much buttoned up as I
can by Monday afternoon. The scratchy throat today has me worried, though.

Rick,
I see no reason you can't do final wheel alignment without the half-shaft.
After all, it is "independent" suspension. :-)
I know, you'll want to check it with EVERYTHING in place, but don't do a
slap-dash job of the "quick initial set" and you may find no touch-up
needed.
Good luck with that throat!

Ken, I'm going to try that and hope for the best after exercising the
suspension. But I can't exercise the suspension and then check it until the
half-shaft is connected. I don't think any of my jacks will drop it fast
enough. :)

You're right, of course, especially after installing all those new
bushings: They'll need a good ride-a-bout to seat them properly.
