Hello all,

I was looking for the latch that goes to the vacuum cabinet (on the models that have the OEM vacuum). Does anybody have any information on where parts for that could be obtained? It is not an easy one to find, or might even be impossible to find as I have not had an luck so far. The plastic part that attaches to the wood door on ours is partially broken causing it to open by itself occasionally. Thank you as always!

Got it, thanks! That one looks to be what's used for all of the other cabinets. The vacuum cabinet is the only one of its kind in the coach. After I posted my note I may have found one that might work (figures!). If I do find one I will be sure to post back the source and part number here.

My vacuum cabinet had the same latch as all the other cabinets.
I may double up some though if needed.

I just ordered a dozen of these from Lee Valley - they are a perfect match for what is installed on the cupboard doors in my 1976 23" Norris upfit.

A little more expensive, but really nice (to open the cupboard door you just press on it and it pops free from the catch).

Those look like the exact one! Thank you for the information. I will take a look and post back what I find here as well.

Thank you all. That helped determine what the things were called and I ended up finding some on Ebay for a fairly good price. Had to wait about 2 weeks (from China), however they seem to be fairly good quality and work just fine. I purchased this below (a 6-pack) and they are an exact fit to the original one.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Home-Push-to-Open-One-touch-Cabinet-Cupboard-Door-Catch-Latch-48mm-Long-6-Pcs/391054191703?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_ trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Home Push-to-Open One-touch Cabinet Cupboard Door Catch Latch 48mm Long

Specification:
Product Name Door Catch
Material Metal, Plastic
Overall Size 48 x 28 x 11mm/ 1.9" x 1.1" x 0.4"(L*W*H)
Roller Size 6 x 6mm/0.24" 0.24"(D*H)
Color Off White, Silver Tone

I figure with a 6-pack, it can break 6 times before I have to do this again. Smile Hope this helps anybody else in the same situation.
