We can still try for a group reservation at Unity Lake or Clyde Holiday before those go
to general reservations. We need 20 sites minimum to do that.

So let's start a count of firm commitments here. How many sites do you want, and can you use a handicap site?
It's usually max 6 people per site, and generally 2 vehicles. The 2nd vehicle is an extra $7/night.
Unity Lake is $24/night with electricity and water. There's a dump station.

I'm assuming we'd try for Unity Lake first because it's closer to center, then Clyde Holiday.
If neither of those pan out, there are other campgrounds but they're typically dry camping.

I think with time we could do more, maybe even fill up the park (they only have about 35 sites each),
but this has to be done quickly.

We want four sites, none handicap.

Two sites, no handicap.

One RV, one tent, but more than six of us, and we'll probably accumulate some friends.

Need minimum of three sites on my end. Was only able to almost get get one
early this morning and that wasn't going to work. Congradulations on
managing to get several Karen.
I need to check with others, but number might bounce up by two.

I need a reasonably firm commitment for the money. Otherwise, if I front the reservations, I'll be out
the cash for anybody who bails out. We don't have to provide names until two months before the start
so we can probably find a few more folks before then to fill in, but the fees are immediate.

My brother was unable to reserve any sites last night as well. So back to drawing board.

I am not entirely sure how far west we would travel, Getting out towards idaho is a bit far i think for us.

If anybody is canceling sites, please let me know 1st.

Thanks, we'll see if this even works. I can front the money short term. We have 10-12 so far, and I think give time could easily get to 20 or more.
It'd be cool if we could reserve the whole park (aside from the two cabins... those are reservable so are already booked).

It's kind of tough to arrange -- don't want to broadcast it so much that it endangers the idea (so I'm hesitant to use FB), but need enough folks
to make it viable. As soon as it looks like a go (hopefully in the next day or so), I'll call and try to get group reservations.

well, pooh. I'm just wrong. Sad Sad I just called and the group reservation feature is only for
reservable parks. The only real benefit I can see is free use of a meeting hall, if one is available.

Unity Lake and Clyde Holiday will be reservable "soon", but they haven't decided when yet.
Group sites (as opposed to a group reservation of normal sites) may not be available
since they need room for camp hosts and possibly additional security for the event.
It's going to be a zoo, and the park people are already drowning in phone calls.

I've gotten on their email list to try and keep a closer eye on when more parks will open for reservations.

Sorry folks Sad
