The under sink compartment in the bath has no back whatsoever. I see the factory sprayed on insulation and the water heater to the right (rear). It's angled somewhat and it seems like there should have been some sort of removable or block off panel back there, but I see no evidence of such. Perhaps my early VIN hadn't yet been fitted with one or does someone have one for sale I could get? It just screams "unfinished". The only other GMC I have seen under the sink was a '78 not outfitted from GMC. Mine was, so that's obviously not an appropriate comparison. Thanks in advance.

Larry,

I also have a 73. It is a 23, but the head modules all seem to be the same.

Under the sink is a large plastic piece. It have tracks for the two doors to slide, and is(was) held in place by a bunch of screws inside the opening that into wood cleats that are glued to the inside of the fiberglass. The entire after half is open and the water heater is there. The front half (sort of) is a box that has the music roll and additional storage. That box is also seriously cut up to make clearance for a heat duct and access to the water heater drain. I hope this helps.

Larry, my bath module is the same, the whole back is open to the wheel well area, plumbing, water heater. Remember our coaches are siblings...btw when I custom fit Lowes cabinets in the kitchen, I had to remove the backs. I used correlated plastic sheeting looks like cardboard, but plastic to create new backs and seal the cabinets so I wouldn't lose things back there. I used metal duct tape to hold it all together.
