I spent $9 on amz to do a little detective work. Here is the same fixture with the driver/transformer

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UTCQJ6S

The transformer is marked 85-265vac input, 12-20vdc output

I just tried 2 of these on straight 12vdc. They worked fine, just strip the connector off the wire.

You're right. Wow, that's a relief, not to mention a pleasant surprise. They do work great on 12VDC. Must have an automatic voltage and AC/DC figure-outer inside. Tried reversing polarity, no go, so center is positive as would seem to make sense anyway. Wondering why it doesn't say 12VDC on it... no matter, bottom line is they work great. Now I can install lighting that is switchable on a wall individually or in groups instead of on every single light fixture. The color is nice and warm, not lab rat-like like the couple I currently have. I'll relegate those to maybe the generator and propane compartments.

Yeah. Makes sense. They can ship it to US or EU and it'll work.

Hey Guys,
Im sorry I missed the confusion here. Work's been hell lately.

These LED's normally come with a transformer to convert hosehold power AC into 12-14V DC. Since our coaches are 12-14v DC no transformer needed.
Sorry I should have explained that up front!

Also,
Instead of stripping the wires, I leave the DC plug and then use these:

Works great and super easy.

I just recieved information from PayPal that my money had been refunded for the lights I'd ordered back on 8-31. I had added a few bucks to more than cover the fees so don't quite understand. Anyone else have this issue? Just wondering....

I'd take 5 of them if it is not to much trouble. Will you be going to the GMCMI rally in Rapid City?

Justin,
Back in August when you first offered this I asked for 5 of them. Are they still available? If so, how do I go about paying you for them?
Thanks.

I installed the three under the pax side cabinet which run on the 'courtesy' switch in the Norris coaches - look good and light things up. Four switches on the way for the driver's side under cabinet and over the sink and in the bathroom. Most pleased. Today is a bit of plastic wood for the screw holes where the original fixtures were mounted.

Question:
This link shows a male connector. Wouldn't these lights need a female connector?
