The two I purchased for my coaches were their standard motorHome engines. They claim to build them to the same specs GM used including the same cam specs. These engines are plenty strong enough for use in our coaches and should offer durability similar to when the coaches were new (given metallurgical changes from repeated heat cycles, etc.). They claim to use equipment capable of machining to closer tolerances then can usually be achieved with standard machine shop rebuilding stuff. Best to read the info on their web site or talk with them to decide for yourself.

Could you list the mods made by S&J to the engines they made to improve power? Do they offer mods like aluminum heads and higher compression ratios?
