I'm helping a friend out with his '72 Olds Cutlass Supreme 350. His timing cover is so corroded behind the water pump that I'm afraid coolant will soon breach what little metal is left. Apparently any timing cover from an Olds manufactured V8 between at least '65 - '79 will fit (260, 307, 330, 350, 400, 403, 425, 455). It doesn't have to be shiny or be totally corrosion-free, just something with a bit more meat than what his has. Please reply with shipping cost included. I'm in 92117. No huge rush, just something I can get by the end of January will be just fine. Thanks in advance.

Many on Ebay for $50 or less. Here's just one example:

Also you might PM CHR$. He sold his coach with a damaged 455, and the new owner is putting in a 500, so maybe the new owner would sell you the timing cover.
